History and Introduction

In the airline industry, competitiveness and low costs must be balanced against quality service and motivated employees. In order to create a bridge between the two opposing sides, Airlige was created in 1993 by Ms. Takako Fujioka.

Airlige is a Japan based company, centrally located in Osaka that consists of two key co-operating components. One of the components is Airlige School of Sky Language, which is an airline training institute for future cabin crew attendants. The other component is Airlige Resources which is a recruitment and manpower agency which has resources to help airline companies cut costs while still maintaining quality

Our mission statement of “promoting and training individuals for careers in the domestic and international airline industry through studies with experienced airline personnel and professionally trained language teachers” and the our motto of “creating an international bridge between the classroom and the sky to bring the world together through highly trained personnel” creates an efficient yet productive answer for airline companies to acquire highly trained employees at a lesser cost while also helping our students reach their goal of becoming a domestic or international flight attendant.

We are proud to state that since 1993 we have successfully placed 908 graduates into a Flight Attendant or Ground Staff position in 85 companies. This is a direct result of our strong curriculum and professionally trained staff. Our graduates continually visit the school in order to keep us up to date with new training or technology, to motivate our current students and to provide classroom lessons to give our students a competitive edge. In addition, many of our graduates have been featured in airline and travel brochures, magazines and posters due to their exemplary service.

Our reputation with students and airline companies continues to grow as more of our students become successful and as more airline services contact us for assistance with their recruiting or staffing needs.

Airlige is able to provide your airline with professional, highly trained, and fluent staff. However, we are more than just a staffing agency. By using Airlige School of Sky Language and Airlige Resources we can provide a competitive business edge to your airline.

Cost Reduction - Airlige students undertake lessons at their cost, thereby eliminating some of the cost required to train flight attendants or ground staff. We can also advertise for your airline staffing needs and this will remove the burden from your office staff. Airlige have the airline staff, expertise and industry knowledge to cut your recruiting costs down to zero for your crew and ground staffing needs.

Time Saving - We are also able to save time during recruitment campaigns. It is no longer necessary for your airline to screen hundreds of applications that you receive from potential candidates. We can prescreen candidates’ resumes by evaluating them on qualifications determined by your company. We can also provide initial screenings which are again based on your specifications, leaving you a list of qualified potential candidates to interview. Airlige Resources Inc. will provide candidates or airline staff that meet or exceed your expectations. In some cases, airlines have received over 10,000 resumes that recruitment officers had to screen. This required costly manpower for screening and interviews, not to mention language and cabin crew trainings.

Reference Example - As an example, in one of our recent campaigns we collected over 200 resumes for an airline company. We then provided seminar information sessions and held an initial screening. From our initial screening, and based on the requirements of the airline company we short listed 100 applicants for the secondary interview which would be held over a period of a few days. This service eliminates the need for an airline to have to sort through resumes, invite candidates, arrange venues and conduct an initial screening. Airlines can hold secondary interviews, and final interviews out of the top quality interested candidates.

Support Staff Services - Scheduling due to crew illness or other general staffing problems can be supplied from our professional senior cabin crew graduates and office staff. We are able to provide these quality employees from our Airlige Elite database of over 200 enrolled students and several hundred graduates who are looking for re-employment in the airline industry.

• Official Supplier to Hainan Airlines - Airlige is the school of choice for supplying Japanese flight attendants to Hainan Airlines for operations between Japan and China. Cabin crew are selected from our most elite students and fully trained in all facets of cabin service, safety and emergencies by our ex-Japanese flight attendant instructors.
• Accredited Supplier to Cathay Kansai Terminal Services - Airlige School has been the sole airline educational institute to supply lounge attendants to Cathay Kansai Terminal Services since September 1994.
• Emirate Airlines and Emirate Hotels - we provide introduction seminars and conduct initial screenings to find the most qualified candidates for the Emirate Recruitment officers.
